The Chief Justice of the Punjab and Haryana High Court, Justice Ashwani Kumar Mishra, in consultation with the elected members of the Bar Council of Punjab and Haryana, has nominated former Punjab and Haryana High Court Judge Justice Jaishree Thakur and Senior Advocate Gursharan Kaur Mann as members of the Bar Council through co-option.

A memorandum issued by the Registrar General of the Punjab and Haryana High Court records that, following the Supreme Court’s directions and an order passed by the Chief Justice in consultation with the elected members of the Bar Council, the two members have been co-opted/nominated.
