On October 14, 2025, the President of India, after consultation with the Chief Justice of India, issued an official notification transferring Justice Dinesh Mehta, Judge of the Rajasthan High Court, to the Delhi High Court under Article 222(1) of the Constitution. Justice Mehta will assume his new charge at the Delhi High Court immediately.
